My Story – Why I Do This Work

I've always been fascinated by the body; how it speaks, how it holds experiences, and how it has an incredible capacity to adapt and heal.

For over 15 years, I worked as a massage therapist. My approach was never just about relieving muscle tension. I was drawn to the deeper layers of the body, noticing how stress, emotions, and life experiences often seemed to be reflected in physical tension. Even then, I was fascinated by the connection between the body and our emotional world.

Then everything changed.

Years ago, I fell down an entire staircase and suffered serious injuries to my head, neck, and arms. For months, I could only stay upright for two hours at a time before I had to lie down in a dark, quiet room. The headaches were relentless, and the tension in my neck and arms felt unbearable.

After six months, I was told something that many people hear when answers run out:

"This is something you'll have to
learn to live with."

But something inside me wasn't ready to accept that. Instead, I became curious.

I began listening to my body in a completely different way, not just as a massage therapist, but as someone searching for answers within myself.

What I discovered changed everything.

My physical pain wasn't only about the injuries. Beneath it were layers of stored tension, unprocessed emotions, and patterns my nervous system had been holding onto for years.

The more I learned to listen without trying to fix or fight what I was feeling, the more my body began to change. Not overnight. Not all at once. But gradually, layer by layer.

That experience transformed not only my physical health but also the way I understood healing.

It showed me that our bodies often carry much more than we realize, and that meaningful change can begin when we learn to listen with curiosity instead of judgment.

Today, my work combines everything I've learned throughout my journey. From my years as a massage therapist to my training in somatic approaches, Trauma coaching, TRE, and breathwork.

I now guide people in reconnecting with their bodies through body awareness, Trauma Release Exercises (TRE), Trauma Release Breathwork (TRB), and somatic coaching. My role isn't to heal anyone. It's to create a safe, supportive space where people can explore what their body is communicating and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.

Because I don't believe healing is something another person can do for you. I believe your body already carries an incredible amount of wisdom. It communicates through sensations, tension, emotions, and patterns. The challenge is that most of us were never taught how to understand its language.

That's why I created The Body Code. It brings together everything I've learned throughout my own journey, my years as a massage therapist, and my work with somatic healing. Through Body Readings, I help you explore what your body's signals may be communicating, offering a different perspective on the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be asking for your attention.

A Body Reading isn't about me telling you who you are or what your body definitively means. It's an invitation to become more curious about yourself, reconnect with your own inner wisdom, and continue your healing journey with greater awareness.

Sometimes, we simply need the right guidance, the right tools, and someone to walk alongside us while we learn to listen.
